Much Thanks On Reaching 1,000!!! #Achievement

First off, how has everyone’s Thanksgiving been? Mines went well. I spent it with my mom, daughter, and brothers. I love how we can be ourselves with each other and just laugh and talk about any and everything.

Now, about you all, I would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom for everything that you do. Thank you so so much!

When I first started this blog, K. Phoenix, I was totally lost and confused; yet, I have gotten through the five years of managing it with hard work, breaks, determination, etc.

Though, I wasn’t alone. You guys have supported me and listened to my struggles, the good and the bad, and read my stories. It means so much to me to have wonderful people out there who are there for you. (Sniff, sniff.)

A little secret of mines: I haven’t been consistent with my blogging over the years. I took too long of time away from it due to: frustration, family issues, and to find myself outside of it. I wanted to know who I really am and the direction I wanted K. Phoenix to go.

Wow! I have lost some followers and gained more. Getting my content out there and reaching out inspiring others (and helping others) was and still is my main goal- not a number of followers I hope to have.
A few things to remember:

  • Be yourself. (Everyone does their own thing differently. We all are unique.)
  • Find your voice.
  • Be humble.
  • Don’t give up. (I know it is hard, but imagine how far you’ll go if you just keep the momentum.)
  • And, always support others. (We’re all in together.)

Again, thank you all for following me! It has been a pleasure following you and reading your blog posts. Several more years to go with you guys. Woot woot! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

    Much love,

    Pamela 🌹XO

Don’t Break Yourself Just To Build Up Someone Else

There comes a time in your life when you tried all that you could, yet, you come to realize that you have to put YOU first. That’s one idea.

Don’t break yourself, taking pieces from yourself just to use those same “pieces” to fix someone else. Don’t, I tell you.

Cause, some people don’t want to be fix and that’s okay. No matter what it is, or how much  you want to:

You can NOT help someone before you can help yourself, or unless the two of you can help build each other up together. That’s another idea.

    Take care of  yourself:

    • Mentally
    • Physically
    • Spiritually
    • Emotionally
    • And also, financially. First.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

During the month of September, I’m going to try something new with YOU on Fridays.

If it works, great. If it doesn’t, we’ll move on and pretend like it never happened, okay? 🙂

You know how much I like music and fiction, right?

Instead of posting music #MusicMondays or old fiction on #FictionFridays, for the Fridays in September, I will be posting a song lyric as a writing prompt fr YOU. If you don’t like the lyric I post, you can simply use another you hear or just write according to the essence of the song.

If you take the challenge, I’ll ask you to pingback to the post or drop a your link post in the comment box.

Flash fiction, regular fiction, poem…it will be up to you! I’d love to see what beautiful creations you come…

Reblog: Writing Challenge (Day 4) Ten Facts To Know About Me

A blast from the past! 😊 Here’s ten little facts about the type of person I am that I could safely say, back in 2015 when I participated in a 30-day writing challenge. I’m thinking about reposting some posts, since I’m going to be super busy. I’m starting a new job next week. Yay!
Hope everyone is doing well! Take care. ❤

    K. Phoenix

Here’s Day 4 of this writing challenge. I have to admit I was a bit shaken up, but yet again, I’m to expose myself. No fear. Taking on this challenge seems similar to what I’ve recently done here on WordPress.

    On with the show.

    Ten Facts About Me:

    1. I had always wanted to be a ballerina. Ballet has always been my go-to choice since age four. I would stand on my tippy toes and twirled around; without ballet shoes I might add. My parents didn’t have money to pay for lessons, yet, that didn’t stopped me. I trained myself by watching ballet on television. I’ve put together my own tutu from scraps on my very first sewing machine I received for Christmas at age 10. I never did became a ballerina like I wanted.
    2. I love horror movies. Yeah, I do. I was once called creepy because of my crazed love for horror. I will choose it over romance…
