We all go through something for reason so it’s always good to see a rainbow in the sky, a flower so beautiful it doesn’t need to be pluck, and the magic the sun brings when it rises and falls. We have to remind ourselves that it’s okay to feel what it is we are feeling so we can process it well. We have to do what we can, while we can, so we can continue to embrace the teachings that life give us.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and I hope you get through this week on a positive note. Stay safe and be blessed, lovelies.
Today marks the last day of March. What a month this have been and the fact that it had went by pretty fast, well to me it did. As the month of April welcomes us with flowers or what have you, I am filling the month with a day-to-day writing challenge for 30 days. Yes, you heard right. 30 days.
I haven’t done this in a while so this would give me something to write about while being cooped up in the house. And it will give you all something to read about that may make you smile, laugh, cry, etc. (I hope I don’t intentionally make you cry.
Also, the writing challenge will give you all a chance to know more about me. I am not so sure on what I am going to talk about, but the image below tells you the subject for each day.
I saw the image on Pinterest from another blogger, and since I’m starting mines in April and not the other whatever-month-it-was, I am doing this at a later time than I expected.
So sit back and get ready. I hope you all enjoy the next month during this corona crisis as I try to do my part to entertain you through it. Take care and I’ll see you all next month.
I can’t believe it has been 8 years since I’ve started this blog. A toast to the rough days and the not-so rough days.🍾🍷 Even though I have been active on here on and off over the years, I tried to published new content as often as I can. And oh yeah, reposting most as well. (Smiles and wink.)
A huge thank you to everyone who had like, comment, and reblog on K. Phoenix. I couldn’t have done this without you all. You have been marvelous, helpful, generous, but most of all, patient. I couldn’t have gotten this far without those attributes.
In the beginning, I was lost as heck and also lost some followers and then gain some. There were times when I had to take breaks from it, and times when the breaks came without my control. There were a time a few years ago I wanted to delete my blog, wait a while, and then start over fresh. Then I figured, why don’t I just start over with what I have. Delete a post or two that wasn’t working or what you. And work out the kinks as years went by. And I did. Still, I much needed work to do. I’m never truly satisfied with anything. (Let’s keep that secret between us, okay?)
I am thankful and grateful for this blog, you all, and WordPress. Much love,
Good morning/afternoon! I hope you all are well and being safe. With what’s happening with this #covid19 #coronavirus pandemic, I hope that everyone is doing what they can to stay safe and to take precautions; and as I will do the same. One thing though, as I take this pandemic serious and pray for those affected, I am working on not allowing myself to get into the mass hysteria because…well, because I won’t since it will not help any. I need not say more on this because it gives me a headache after seeing memes about it and what people including the political and healthcare officials have to say about it. Hmm.
Below is a poem I would like to share from another writer whose poetry I had came upon on a website. It’s uplifting and filled with positivity. I hope it can help someone. Be strong. Be safe. And do what you can however you can. Do not stress yourself about any of what’s happening since in my country, the United States, it is also election year. 🤔 (I’ll stay quiet on this before I vent.)
Take care. Much love,
This Is A Daily Reminder
By: Nicolette- March 2015
This is a daily reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
This is a daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything.
This is a daily reminder To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up.
This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you are amazing, That you will succeed.
This is a daily reminder To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay.
This is a daily reminder That you have made it so far already, That you haven’t given up, That whatever you’re doing is right, And that you are going to be amazing.
