Day 2 opening line challenge.

She rolls over, diverting her eyes about the room, and wonder how the heck she got here; she had only asked the guy for directions last night.

  1. She asked for directions to his bedroom, perhaps? I’m afraid I’m a bit naive about such things. The only one night stand I ever tried was when I got locked out during my student days and had to stand outside my dorm for hours until somebody eventually showed up and let me in. 🙂

      1. Oh, I know. They were common enough among my friends at university. Different people just have different personalities.

In my case, I was the sort of person who felt more comfortable in long-term relationships. The shortest relationship I ever had with anybody was six months.

I’m not really frowning on one night stands, though. They don’t suit me, but people are different, and that’s fine. 🙂

      2. Oh definitely. I prefer long term relationships too. I decided to posted this when I heard a negative comment on tv about people having one-night stands are bad. Which isn’t true cause I know a few and they’re married now.

      3. I’m fairly relaxed about it when it’s young, unattached people. I get rather more nervous about the idea when people involved are in stable long-term relationships (i.e. with other people) — and especially if they have kids. That’s just a disaster waiting to happen.
